I am Hilda Moraa. Currently the CEO & Founder of Pezesha, A Digital Financial Marketplace for
\nthe underserved in Africa..
\nAward-winning entrepreneur and author of \u201cA Kenyan startup Journey\u201d .
\nI have more than 10 years of experience in Fintech and working with multinationals to develop
\ninnovations across Africa. Prior to Pezesha, I was the Founder & CEO of WezaTele, a value
\nadd mobility service provider in Fintech & Supply chain sector that was started in 2009 and
\nsuccessfully acquired in 2015.
\nI was part of the founding team of iHub Research, an initiative under iHub, Nairobi\u2019s 1st
\nInnovation Hub.
\nI hold a Masters in Entrepreneurship & a Business Information Technology Degree from
\nStrathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya.
\nI was listed as of the top 30 innovators in Africa in 2018 by Quartz Africa. I was the keynote
\nspeaker at the GES 2015 when President Barrack Obama was in Kenya for the event and still
\nfeel very blessed to have shared a podium with him as one of my role models.<\/p>\n

I must confess I am a workaholic but that said, I love to sleep. When I am not sleeping or
\nworking, then I enjoy Yoga, meditation, listening to podcasts and wine tasting. I also enjoy
\nwashing utensils, I find it to be mental therapy (I am weird, right?).<\/p>\n
